This gallery is dedicated to the Juniper and those who cultivate, style, and display them. A constant companion of bonsaists everywhere, the Juniper plays an important role in bonsai, while offering some of the finest bonsai in the world for inspirations and enjoyment by all.
Special thanks to Heather Hartman Coste, who did all the leg work for this gallery!

“Meyers” juniper (fondly known as the ‘Corkscrew’) originally styled at the IBC ’91 Convention in Birmingham. The tree was so brutalized by Dan during his demo that even John Naka thought it wasn’t going to survive and Craig Coussins whistled the funeral march when Dan packed it away to take home. Now in the collection of Peter Chan. The Meyers juniper is planted in a Korean pot and is about 48” tall.
